Gary Bruce has a strong background and extensive experience in both for- profit and not-for-profit business enterprises. As a consultant in risk management and environmental training, response and compliance, he provides services to a diverse client base, including publically regulated utilities, communications companies and industrial manufacturers in Florida.
He is a former adjunct instructor in enviromental training and occupations for the University of Florida and is a current guest lecturer at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences.
As a volunteer, Mr. Bruce is the Chairman of the Salvation Army of St. Johns County, as well as co-founder and Executive Director of Project Special Care, a publicly supported agency that provides critically needed services to children with disabilities, without cost to their families.
On the local level, he received the SERTOMA Award for community service to St. Johns County. On the national level, he was recognized by the U.S. Congressional Coalition on Adoption for his work in building public-private partnerships for the benefit of children and youth.
