The Inconvenient Truth – Global Warming Tax To Be Sold Under “Deteriorating Atmosphere”
Huh? Well the Socialists, having been unable to sell you the massive “global warming” tax under the guise of , well “global warming” have decided that they will try a different approach. This is frustrating them to no end, especially Al Gore.
So, their new strategy will be to recast the message to market it under “our deteriorating atmosphere” or “saving money for a more prosperous future“. Why? Because their research and focus groups have convinced them this is the way to go. You see, they are still convinced you are stupid, if spoken to in the proper manner. I swear you cannot make this up.
The New York Times came into possession of a memo that describes the new strategy from EcoAmerica. Among the advice in the memo:
“it is time to drop the term “the environment” and talk about “the air we breathe, the water our children drink.”“Another key finding: remember to speak in TALKING POINTS aspirational language about shared American ideals, like freedom, prosperity, independence and self-sufficiency while avoiding jargon and details about policy, science, economics or technology,”
Hard Sell is about to become Soft Sell. They have been unable to scare you into opening your wallet, so they are going to take the approach of the local used car salesman:
“Robert J. Brulle of Drexel University, an expert on environmental communications, said ecoAmerica’s campaign was a mirror image of what industry and political conservatives were doing. “The form is the same; the message is just flipped,” he said. “You want to sell toothpaste, we’ll sell it. You want to sell global warming, we’ll sell that. It’s the use of advertising techniques to manipulate public opinion.”
He said the approach was cynical and, worse, ineffective. “The right uses it, the left uses it, but it doesn’t engage people in a face-to-face manner,” he said, “and that’s the only way to achieve real, lasting social change.””
Democrats have a real problem on this issue. Their solution is paid for with Democrat tax increases as well as Republicans. No, they expect you to swallow the non-science and the doctored data, presented by so-called scientists who are angling for a piece of the pie for you to open your wallet and pay your tax, every day for a solution in search of a problem.
You see, even the “global warming” alarmists have had to admit that global temperatures have been falling for the last ten years as evidenced by this chart from the data set presented by the University of Alabama (UAH) satellite-based lower troposphere temperatures.

But they have that covered, falling temeratures are evidence of “global warming” . They also started harping on the “decline of polar sea ice”.
They pointed to “data” showing vast declines in sea ice at the North Pole. When people looked at the charts from the Univeristy of Michigan Cryospheretoday.org website (pro MMGW scientific website) which documents the condition of the poles the data did not make any sense. The chart shows the most recent data.

You will notice that according to the chart, sea ice in the Arctic Region has miraculously
recovered. Not to worry, the University of Michigan and NOAA have admitted that the data sensors measuring sea ice last summer were “malfunctioning”.
Cap & Trade, Cap and Cash Back or “to save our deteriorating atmosphere“, in the end this is about imposing on you the shackles of tyranny and at the same time instituting the perfect tax.
A better name for it is “American Air-Conditioning Tax“. You will pay this tax just by waking up and wanting to be comfortable in your home. You will pay it every time you turn on the light, every time the a/c kicks in and even after you die in the form of higher prices for you coffin, your burial and the cost to mow your grave.
The Socialists are drooling at the thought of passing this tax. It is the ultimate in taxes and the ultimate in big government control over everything you do. Every minute, of every day, you will have to dig deep into your wallet to pay Barack Obama and Al Gore your annual $ 3,900.00 share of this new tax.
